Dear Martin:
We are so sorry we are not able to attend auntie Elsie’s funeral. We are thinking of you and Uncle Stuart and all the Walton family and friends on this day.
Auntie Elsie was a permanent and loving presence in my life growing up, a supportive sister to my dad, Douglas, and an open door just down the road from our house. She was always happy to see us.
I will always remember the beautiful garden at the end of the Dickredge where Uncle Mick and Auntie Elsie would show us around - it was delightful!
I cannot think of a more fitting tribute than butterflies!
